NaNoWriMo... yes, I am crazy

So. I have begun. Actually making some progress. More than I have ever written before, I think. I have discovered that, yes, I can be longwinded. It sure contributes to the word count. The plot is revealing itself to me as I write. I had only some vague notion of anything when I started. It is still that way. Maybe something will coalesce before I'm done... or before the end of the month comes.

Ack! It's that time of year again

Good grief. It's closing in on the middle of October, 2008, and I haven't written here since last November. Ouch. And Nanowrimo time is coming again. And I have signed up again. And I have no idea what I'm going to write about. Again.

On the upside, I can't do much worse than I did last year, unless I end up writing nothing at all. So... anything is an improvement? I guess that's one good thing about underachieving.
